How YearlyBible.App was born
I'm Isaac,
I am not a professional computer programmer.
I'm not even sure if I'm a professional at anything.
However, the one thing that has been in my life as long as I remember is the Bible.
My mother and father even gave me the initials IGWT - In God We Trust (no, I won't share my full name)
Never in a million years would I imagine myself being able to connect with the Bible digitally.
The Bible has just been a book of guidance for every day living and a direct connection to God.
Yet somehow God led me to discover Lovable and some free resources for spiritual developers.
Here's where things get really interesting.
Lovable announced that they would allow developers to build on their platform for free for a weekend.
After building a project to help me for work, I decided to build a personal project. One just for me.
I've had struggles over the years with consistent Bible reading.
There has been years where it's really active and other years where I loose focus and get too busy.
Pause. I feel odd saying this, but I really don't think I can take credit for the idea of the app.
I feel like it was downloaded into my brain, then I called my dad to ask him to help me build it.
Being a sr. computer engineer, he started asking me the perfect questions to validate the concept.
I knew I couldn't write the code needed to make this happen.
But I knew the computer I was going to pay to write the code for me could.
This is how YearlyBible.App was born.
I thought of every single possible way that would keep me engaged in reading through the Bible.
Then asked a computer to code the whole thing for me.
Data and KPI's are my everyday - I feel like I was created to make this app.
Everything in my background aligns perfectly.
I humbly accept whatever the future has instore for me because I took the time to listen and build.
You should try the app. It's 100% free.
Or keep following to see the progresses.
The next steps are working on getting the TTS player to not call on Deepgrams API and replace it with audio files that can be stored on the server.
I think I finally found my mark on the planet.
Till next post.
